Adina Hall Design in Chicago seeks a technically strong Architectural Designer / Interior Designer on a flexible contract basis to join the Chicago studio. You will work across design-driven residential and select commercial projects, collaborating with the architecture and interiors team from concept through documentation, budgeting and construction.

Qualifications

4+ years of professional experience in architecture, interior architecture or related field.
Strong construction documentation and detailing skills.
Experience producing architectural/interior drawing sets.
Experience with residential renovations, kitchens, bathrooms and custom millwork.

Responsibilities

Produce and develop construction documents, including floor plans, RCPs, interior elevations and details.
Develop custom millwork, cabinetry, kitchen and bathroom drawings.
Contribute to design development, material and finish selections and sourcing.
Create client presentations and design boards using established templates.
Assist with project budgeting, estimates, specifications and product documentation.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors and trade partners.
Research products, materials and technical solutions.
Participate in site visits and project meetings as needed.
