City of New York’s Administration for Children’s Services seeks an Associate Staff Analyst to manage contract performance, budget analyses, and data-driven reviews across DYFJ programs. Qualifications

  • Master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, or related fields; one year of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree plus three years of relevant experience.
  • Associate degree plus five years of relevant experience.
  • Four-year high school diploma plus seven years of relevant experience.
  • Combination of education and/or experience as described above with substitutions allowed.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contract terms.
  • Prepare budget analyses and review provider reports and line-items.
  • Coordinate with Fiscal, QA, and program leads to review budgets for approval.
  • Analyze spending patterns and conduct cost and operational research.
  • Review financial data to ensure ACS policy adherence; prepare reports with recommendations.
  • Assist in collection of materials for FOIL and audit requests.
  • Design and analyze data to ensure contracted providers meet priorities.
  • Liaise with Finance, ACCO, program leads and providers to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Prepare project plans and schedule tasks; ensure timely deliverables.
