Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Contract Analyst II to review, negotiate, edit, and draft contracts across services, sales, distribution, confidentiality, hotel, and event planning as needed. You will coordinate with attorneys and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate contract execution.

The role requires strong drafting, negotiation, and collaboration skills, along with an ability to interpret evolving statutes and internal policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in contracting or contract law required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the contracts review process, including reviewing and drafting contracts, providing advice, participating in contract negotiations, and coordinating contract review by attorneys and other members of the Contract team.
• Routinely reviews and provides advice to business personnel and legal colleagues regarding contractual matters, including interpretation inquiries.
• Supports and promotes compliance of internal policies and procedures surrounding the contracting process.
• Assists in reviewing new statutes and regulations, interpreting changes, and determining the potential effect on the organization's contracts.
• Supports and promotes the Procure-to-Pay process, including but not limited to utilizing the Purchasing and Legal contracting modules.
• Provides back-up support on the contracting module, which is used to manage contracts for the team.
• Assists in other general corporate projects within the General Corporate unit as requested.
• Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Job Purpose

The Contract Analyst II reviews, negotiates, edits, and drafts contractual documents on behalf of the Company. This individual focuses primarily on agreements relating to services, sales and distribution, confidentiality, hotel, and event planning but may cover any other type of agreement, including but not limited to information technology, intellectual property, professional engagement, or settlement. The Contract Analyst II serves as a point of contact to internal departments on various matters related to the contracting process.

Essential Responsibilities

• Facilitates the contracts review process, including reviewing and drafting contracts, providing advice, participating in contract negotiations, and coordinating contract review by attorneys and other members of the Contract team.
• Routinely reviews and provides advice to business personnel and legal colleagues regarding contractual matters, including interpretation inquiries.
• Supports and promotes compliance of internal policies and procedures surrounding the contracting process. Assists with creating, updating, and reviewing policies and procedures to ensure that the Company is operating in compliance with regulations.
• Assists in reviewing new statutes and regulations, interpreting changes, and determining the potential effect on the organization's contracts.
• Supports and promotes the Procure-to-Pay process, including but not limited to utilizing the Purchasing and Legal contracting modules.
• Provides back-up support on the contracting module, which is used to manage contracts for the team.
