Energy Transfer is seeking a Contract Analyst to join our Crude Accounting team in Houston, Texas. We foster a culture of curiosity—driving data-informed decisions and embracing technology to streamline processes.

The role supports the full contract lifecycle, from drafting to execution and ongoing tracking of obligations. The analyst helps ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance, liaising with Legal, Commercial and Accounting, and maintaining robust contract records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Word required.
  • Experience with CLM systems, RightAngle, SAP and Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Draft contracts outside the pre-approved templates, coordinating closely with Legal and Commercial teams.
  • Serve as a liaison between Commercial, Legal, and Accounting to clarify contract terms.
  • Analyze contract obligations to identify stakeholders and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare, review, and amend contracts using approved templates.
  • Manage the trade confirmation process and resolve discrepancies timely.
  • Maintain a comprehensive electronic contract database for accessibility and reporting.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve contract-related issues timely.
  • Support system enhancements and user acceptance testing for CLM/ETRM.
  • Stay current on procedures and systems, recommending operational improvements.
