Craft Agency Ltd. in New York seeks a maker with 1–2 years in filmmaking, editing, art direction or creative production to craft distinctive visual content. You will blend filmmaking basics with generative AI, shaping early direction and leading tools and open‑source workflows.
You’ll work across image, video, motion, and branded work, balancing AI enhancements with traditional production to deliver high‑craft campaigns with real visibility.
Most studios talking about “AI at scale” are stitching together consumer tools and hoping the output holds. This one built its own. You’d be working inside a proprietary Gen-AI creative ecosystem that powers content for a global roster of brands: sportswear giants, fast-food names everyone knows, luxury houses, major banks. This isn’t a role about generating generic AI output, but proving that generative tools can hold genuine craft at brand scale.
You’ll make distinctive, production-ready visual content by combining filmmaking, editing and art direction fundamentals with generative AI. You’ll lead the creative call on image, video, motion and branded work, deciding when AI sharpens the vision and when traditional production serves it better. You’ll work hands‑on across the full pipeline, concept through finishing, and you’re expected to bring ideas and shape early direction, not just execute a brief handed to you.
The New York studio produces original campaign work – recent output has run from interactive brand platforms to film shot entirely in‑house – so this is making with real visibility, not high‑volume adaptation.
You’re a maker one to two years into filmmaking, editing, art direction or creative production – possibly an exceptional recent graduate – with real craft fundamentals in composition, lighting, pacing and narrative.
You embraced generative AI on your own terms, likely through self‑directed projects as much as paid work, and you’re comfortable with leading tools and open‑source workflows. You know when AI adds value and when it doesn’t, and you’re ready to be judged on a portfolio that pairs genuine craft with high-quality AI work.
