Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

• Knowledge of ARD Committee process and IEP goal setting/implementation.
• Knowledge of how to adapt curriculum and instruction for students with disabilities.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEPs through ARD for each student.
• Plan and deliver instruction using diverse strategies to meet needs in resource, inclusion, and self-contained settings.
• Adapt general education curriculum as needed for students with disabilities based on IEP goals.
• Use data from assessments to adjust instruction and services.
• Supervise instructional aides and paraprofessionals in the classroom.
• Participate in ARD Committee meetings regularly.
