Colliers Engineering & Design, with Ramos CS now part of the firm, seeks a Contract Administrator to support contract administration and procurement for a light rail extension program in Seattle. The role entails working with the Authority and Resident Engineer to ensure procurement, contract compliance, and audit-ready files in line with federal/state requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of contract administration or procurement experience on publicly funded construction contracts,

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years of relevant contract administration or procurement experience on publicly funded construction contracts.
• Federal contracting experience with familiarity of FTA requirements preferred.
• Certification such as CPCM, CFCM, CCCM, CCMA, CPPO, CPPB, or NIGP-CPP preferred.
• Must be able to work on-site in Seattle.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for job-related communications.

Responsabilidades

• Supports procurement processes: schedules, advertisement, pre-submittal meetings, site visits, evaluation, selection, negotiation, award, and contract execution.
• Develops contract special conditions, specifications, and procurement documents.
• Reviews contract requirements for compliance with federal/state laws and Authority policies.
• Supports responsiveness and responsibility reviews of proposals and bids.
• Assists cost/price analysis and contract negotiations.
• Monitors contractor compliance with terms, insurance and bonding; reporting obligations.
• Coordinates with Change Order Manager to document and execute changes/amendments.
• Coordinates with labor compliance and economic development staff on contractor reporting.
• Ensures contract files are complete and audit-ready.

GC/CM procurement familiarity

English reading/writing ability

Educación

Bachelor's degree preferred
