Job summary

The Iowa Judicial Branch, Juvenile Court Services, seeks a Contract Administrator for JCS Districts 6 and 8, located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, or Ottumwa. This role covers contract administration and budgeting across districts with potential statewide contracts.

The successful candidate will draft, negotiate, review, and oversee contracts to ensure legal compliance and achievement of objectives; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Able to read, analyze, and interpret legal and financial documents.
• Knowledge of contract execution, purchasing, and government accounting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contract compliance with laws, policies, and procedures; identify risk and mitigation.
• Draft and administer contracts to meet terms.
• Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure safe, proper execution.
• Prepare reports on contract compliance and progress.
• Maintain accurate records of all contracts.
• Track milestones, deliverables, renewals, and deadlines; monitor performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
