Job summary

CTI Consulting in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a senior Java developer with 6-9+ years of experience to join our software delivery team. You will design and implement RESTful APIs, contribute to cloud-based solutions, and work within an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

You will leverage AWS, serverless architectures, and EKS-based deployments, ensuring QA readiness, code quality, and timely releases while collaborating with cross-functional teams on medium- to large-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 6-9+ years Java development experience.
• Experience with Restful APIs and contract design / core API development understanding.
• 2+ years with AWS and other cloud-based development methodologies / best-practices.

• Accountable for consistent delivery of functional software – sprint to sprint, release to release.
• Excellence in software development practices and procedures.
• Develops original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
• Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables (end-to-end tests, unit tests, automation).

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
• Assists in developing departmental technical policies and procedures.
