Job summary

Sage GroupHealthCare Staffing is seeking a Rehab PTA for a travel contract in Hondo, TX. Immediate start; local and traveler candidates welcome.

Position involves PTA duties in LTC/rehab settings, with 8-hour days and a 13-week contract. TX PTA license and BLS are required. Travel stipends available for eligible travelers.

Qualifications

• PTA license for TX or Compact required.
• BLS certification from AHA required.

Responsibilities

• Implement components of patient care, obtain data related to treatments and collaborate with the PT to modify care as necessary.
• Assist the physical therapist in treatment of individuals.
• Help patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups.
• Read instructions from Physical Therapist.
• Work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients.
• Speak with families to find the best at-home techniques.
• Keep the physical therapy area clean and organized.
• Move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the PT area.
• Complete administrative tasks like scheduling appointments and filing paperwork.

Pay Rate: $1520 to $1600 Weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week ( Includes Non-taxabletravel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Shift timings: 8 Hours; Days, Typically, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm

Position Requirements:

• Physical Therapist Assistant Experience: 1 year - Required
  
• PTA experience in LTC or Rehab setting: Required
• Prior Travel contracts experience –Highly preferred
  

Education, Licenseand Certification Requirements:

• PTA License for State of TX or Compact - Required
