Job Description

Sage GroupHealthCare Staffing is seeking a PTA for a travel contractposition in Borger, TX. We are accepting both local and travel candidates.

Position Name : PhysicalTherapy Assistant - LTC

Location: Borger, Texas

Specialty: PTA

Start Date : ASAP

EmploymentType: Full-time, Travel,Contract, Temporary

ContractLength: 13 weeks

Pay Rate: $1600 weekly Gross Pay based on a 40-hour work week ( Includes Non-taxabletravel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: PTA, LTC

Shift timings: 8 hours, Days, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm

Position Requirements:

• New Grads accepted
  
• Physical Therapy Assistant experience: Preferred
  
• LTC experience - Preferred
  
• Prior Travel experience – Preferred
  

Education, License, and Certification Requirements:

• PTA License for the State applying or Compact if applicable - Required
  
• BLS Certification- Preferred
  

Job Description:

• Under the direction and supervision ofphysical therapists, physical therapist assistants treat patients throughexercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeuticinterventions. They record patients' progress and report the results of eachtreatment to the physical therapist.
  
• Implement components of patient care, obtaindata related to the treatments provided, and collaborate with the PT to modifycare as necessary.
  
• Assist the physical therapist in thetreatment of individuals
  
• Help patients stretch and exercise certainmuscle groups
  
• Work directly with Physical Therapist toassist patients
  
• Keep physical therapy area clean andorganized
