Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking staff to provide constant observation and support for patients under the direction of a registered nurse. You will accompany patients during tests, maintain a clean and safe room, and report changes in behavior or requests to the care team.

Qualified candidates will follow established observation guidelines, remain with patients as directed, and help ensure timely communication and patient comfort in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Reports to the registered nurse and provides patient observation as assigned.
• Maintains a safe environment under the direction of the nurse.
• Remains with patient during care activities and tests as directed.
• Helps with transport and comfort tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reports on/off duty to the assigned registered nurse.
• Provides continual observation and monitoring of patient.
• Accompanies patient to tests or treatments as required.
• Maintains a neat, orderly patient room and safe environment.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
