Job summary

Hitachi Energy's Crystal Springs facility is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive Lean ITM-based transformation across the value stream. You will coach teams, lead Kaizen events, and partner with cross-functional groups to raise safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

In this hands-on role, you will deploy Lean tools, mentor colleagues, and build a culture of accountability and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 1+ years in manufacturing, engineering, or process improvement.
  • Experience with Lean systems (e.g., ITM, TPS, Danaher, Honeywell).
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean/ITM principles and tools.
  • Partner across teams to eliminate waste and optimize processes.
  • Lead Kaizen events to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Support deployment and maturity of the ITM system.
  • Coach and train teams on Lean tools and problem-solving methods.
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and employee engagement.
  • Influence and guide teams through sustainable change.

Your Background

  • Strong facilitation, communication, and influencing skills

  • Ability to work across all levels in a fast-paced environment

  • Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred
