Hitachi Energy is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader for its Crystal Springs, Mississippi facility, where continuous improvement is at the heart of operations. You’ll lead Lean/ITM initiatives across the value stream, coaching teams and driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

Working hands-on in our Focus Factory, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams, deploy Kaizen events, and influence a culture of accountability, engagement, and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or process improvement.
  • Experience with Lean systems (e.g., ITM, TPS, Danaher, Honeywell).
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean/ITM principles and tools.
  • Partner across teams to eliminate waste and optimize processes.
  • Lead Kaizen events to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Support deployment and maturity of the ITM system.
  • Coach and train teams on Lean tools and problem-solving methods.
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and employee engagement.
  • Influence and guide teams through sustainable change.

Your Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field

  • Strong facilitation, communication, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work across all levels in a fast‑paced environment
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred
