Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Continuous Improvement/Six Sigma Specialist to lead Lean initiatives across Rockford facilities. This on-site role requires guiding sites through process improvements, training teams, and delivering measurable performance gains.

You will partner with operations and engineering leaders to map value streams, run Kaizen events, and implement data-driven actions that reduce waste and improve quality.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Manufacturing, Operations, or Business Management (Mechanical/Electrical fields allowed) with 10+ years CI experience.
  • In lieu of degree, 12–15 years of Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma; Green Belt preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading process improvement projects with measurable results.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to influence diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive deployment and integration of Continuous Improvement across sites to enhance operational excellence.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement culture throughout the site.
  • Partner with functional leaders to identify opportunities and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, Kaizen events, and training to foster CI culture.
  • Utilize tools (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Visual Management, Lean Six Sigma) to identify inefficiencies and actions.
  • Serve as SME in defined tools, providing training and support to cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor and measure effectiveness of CI initiatives and report to leadership.
  • Support development and execution of site-level Improvement roadmaps.
  • Work with multiple organizations to align corporate improvement goals.

What You Will Do
  • Drive the deployment and integration of Continuous Improvement methodologies across various sites to enhance operational excellence and meet business goals
  • Drive Continuous Improvement culture throughout the site
  • Partner with functional leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, Kaizen events, and training sessions to foster a continuous improvement culture within the sites
  • Utilize tools and techniques (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Visual Management, Lean Six Sigma, etc…) to identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in defined tools and techniques, providing training and support to cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of Continuous Improvement initiatives and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Support the development and execution of site-level Improvement roadmaps, ensuring alignment with broader corporate objectives.
  • Work closely with multiple organizations to align corporate improvement goals
What You Will Bring
  • A degree/diploma in Manufacturing, Operations or Business Management or a related technical field (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical) preferred with 10+ years of experience.
  • In lieu of a degree 12-15 years of Continuous Improvement experience would be considered
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies; Green Belt preferred
  • Proven track record of leading process improvement projects with quantifiable results.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
Pay Range:

$87K-$92K

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements

This role is 100% on-site position located in Rockford, ILL

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel requirements:

Travel may be required To other facilities.

Citizenship requirement:

Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
