Job summary

MAC Incorporated in Warsaw, Indiana is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence Manager to lead Lean transformation initiatives across its U.S. manufacturing operation.

This high-impact role partners with manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain and operations to improve safety, quality, productivity, delivery and cost. The position reports to executive leadership and requires a Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt preferred), 10+ years of Lean manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical discipline.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt is required; Black Belt preferred.
  • 10+ years leading Lean Manufacturing and CI initiatives in industrial settings.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma projects, Kaizen events, and transformation.
  • Strong skills in Lean tools and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead deployment of Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence system.
  • Drive DMAIC projects to reduce waste and variation.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops.
  • Coach production leaders and cross-functional teams on Lean.
  • Implement Standard Work, visual management, and daily management.
  • Lead Value Stream Mapping and improve flow and inventory.
  • Develop pull systems and takt-based manufacturing.
  • Use data analytics to improve processes.
  • Lead strategic improvement projects from planning to sustainment.
  • Support Hoshin Planning and align initiatives with objectives.
  • Establish KPI dashboards, governance, and benefits tracking.

Continuous Improvement Manager – Warsaw, Indiana

Location: Onsite

A leading global manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence Manager to lead Lean transformation initiatives across its U.S. manufacturing operation. This high-impact leadership position focuses on driving operational excellence, implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and developing a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

This role reports directly to executive leadership and will partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to improve safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the deployment of the company's Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence system throughout the facility.
  • Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives using DMAIC methodology to eliminate waste, reduce variation, and improve operational performance.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops that deliver measurable business results.
  • Coach and mentor production leaders, supervisors, engineers, and cross‑functional teams on Lean principles and problem‑solving techniques.
  • Implement and sustain Standard Work, visual management, and daily management systems.
  • Lead Value Stream Mapping activities and identify opportunities to improve flow, reduce lead times, and optimize inventory.
  • Develop and implement pull systems and takt‑based manufacturing strategies.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and data‑driven decision making to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Lead strategic improvement projects from planning through implementation and sustainment.
  • Support Hoshin Planning (Strategy Deployment) and align improvement initiatives with business objectives.
  • Establish KPI dashboards, project governance, and benefit tracking to ensure long‑term sustainability.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or another technical discipline.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading Lean Six Sigma projects, Kaizen events, and operational transformation efforts.
