Job summary
MAHLE Filter Syst.(US) in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a Manufacturing Engineering/Continuous Improvement Leader to drive Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives across the plant. You will lead cross-functional teams, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, and implement process improvements to boost productivity, quality, and OEE.
Responsibilities include PFMEAs, Control Plans, equipment projects, and supporting APQP/PPAP for customer launches.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in automotive manufacturing environment.
- Basic PLC programming knowledge with Allen Bradley/Siemens.
- Experience with machine vision systems (Keyence/Cognex).
- Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen tools applied to productivity gains.
- Strong documentation of changes and results.
Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and troubleshoot process problems.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Process Planning.
- Develop and maintain processes, work instructions, and standards.
- Design and optimize layouts, material flow, and ergonomics.
- Lead root-cause analyses using 8D, 5 Why, and A3 methods.
- Support APQP/PPAP and customer launches.
- Drive OEE improvements and scrap reduction.
- Oversee PFMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams, and Control Plans.
- Assist in capital expenditure justification for equipment.
- Provide training and technical support to personnel.
