Job summary

Dessert Holdings in Humble, TX is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead strategy and tool development across the site, coaching teams and driving countermeasures to completion.

You will own plant loss KPI tracking, implement standardized work and problem-solving processes, and build capability across all levels of the manufacturing plant.

This role requires 5+ years in Lean/CI with plant operations, Six Sigma belts preferred, and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of Lean/CI experience in manufacturing.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt preferred.
  • Experience with plant operating systems and reporting.
  • Ability to coach up to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement problem-solving tools to reduce losses across Safety, Quality, Maintenance and Operations.
  • Manage site productivity processes and projects to hit 5-year productivity goals.
  • Institutionalize Standardized Work, Problem-Solving, and Pull Systems as core building blocks.
  • Build capability in others and drive business-change to a zero-loss mindset.
  • Train and coach problem-solving processes/tools at all plant levels; spend substantial time on the production floor.
