About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled in Continuous Improvement with at least five years of experience in a Continuous Improvement initatives to lead continuous improvement initiatives in our manufacturing operations. This role will focus on driving operational excellence, increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality through the application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement projects to optimize manufacturing processes and drive cost savings.
  • Identify and eliminate waste, defects, and process variations to improve overall operational performance.
  • Train and mentor Green Belts and other employees in Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Utilize DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and other problem-solving techniques to enhance process stability and capability.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality, supply chain, and maintenance, to implement process improvements.
  • Support kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other lean initiatives to drive cultural change.
  • Ensure projects align with business goals and deliver measurable improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and safety (QCDS).
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) based on best practices.
  • Report progress and results of continuous improvement initiatives to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (ASQ, IASSC, or equivalent) required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Black Belt role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in leading complex, cross-functional process improvement projects.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, process mapping, and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in Minitab, JMP, or other statistical analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
