Job summary

McLeod Software is seeking a strategic, hands-on Continuous Improvement Leader in Birmingham, AL. The role focuses on solving complex business problems, aligning improvement efforts with business goals, and empowering teams to achieve operational excellence.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, facilitate Kaizen events, and coach leaders on Lean Six Sigma principles while building organizational capability through training and workshops.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading continuous improvement initiatives in service, software, tech, or manufacturing.
• Proven success delivering measurable operational improvements via Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with multiple departments/stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute McLeod Software's continuous improvement strategy aligned with business objectives.

• Experience leading cross-functional projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
• Experience creating executive dashboards and performance metrics using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Visio, Power BI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, logistics, transportation, or other technology-driven environments is a plus.
