Job summary

KDC/One Northern Labs seeks a Continuous Improvement Manager to drive sitewide Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, reducing losses while boosting safety, quality, and productivity. You will design and deliver training, coach teams across shifts, and lead improvement projects using data-driven methods.

You will collaborate across departments to create a sustainable CI roadmap, manage daily process controls, and guide the CI steering committee to achieve financial and development goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Technology, Business or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement experience including leadership of improvement projects.
• Demonstrated application of Lean methods, structured root-cause analysis, and operational data analysis to achieve measurable improvements.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, operational costs, and the financial impact of improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI initiatives to reduce losses, improve safety, quality, productivity and cost.
• Deliver Lean/Six Sigma training and programs for team capability.
• Co-facilitate Kaizen and 90-Day Improvement events with cross-functional teams.
• Serve as subject matter expert for CI methodology and Daily Process controls.
• Lead the Continuous Improvement steering committee to support annual financial and employee development goals.
• Create and maintain continuous improvement roadmap for operation.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Assist with CI training logistics and maintain CI materials.
