Job summary

Fortune 500 manufacturing organization seeks a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and CI strategy while delivering margin improvements through KPI sustainment and waste elimination. The role leads the onsite CI activities, leveraging Kaizen and Lean techniques across maintenance and operations to optimize yield and production processes.

The candidate should have a technical degree and a minimum of 4 years in CI/Lean manufacturing within high-speed production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a technical field is preferred/required.
• At least 4 years of CI/Lean manufacturing experience in high-speed environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for CI techniques such as Kaizen and other Lean methods.
• Direct CI group activities and coordinate with maintenance and Operations to drive site-wide improvements.
• Facilitate CI events to improve 6S, waste reduction, yield improvements and process efficiency.
• Engage production personnel to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrate ability to drive change and communicate CI plans across the organization.
• Able to deliver continuous improvement training to teams.

We are representing a FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader that will be responsible for Lean Manufacturing and CI strategy while executing deployment driving margin through sustainment of plant KPI's/deliverables and waste elimination.

Position Overview

• Candidate will lead the onsite efforts on Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement.
• Act as a resource to the organization for the use of continuous improvement techniques such as the Hochin, Kaizen and various Lean Manufacturing techniques and other improvement methods.
• Lead the activities of the CI group including their interaction with maintenance function, Operations to drive site wide improvements.
• Facilitate special CI events activities to drive 6S, plant improvement performance in capitalizing on removing waste and improvement of yield, and production processes.
• Drives engagement with production personnel to participate suggest improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to effect change in a manufacturing environment and ensure improvement activity is being communicated, understood, and supported within the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate groups and deliver continuous improvement training.

Requirements
