Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lean leadership: coach teams in 5S, standard work, VSM, waste elimination, and problem‑solving.
  • Kaizen facilitation: plan, lead, teach Kaizen workshops; guide cross‑functional teams through rapid improvements.
  • Supporting Kaizen: event preparation, facilitation support, process analysis, Lean tool application, SOP updates, sustainment.
  • Project execution: lead CI projects using DMAIC, A3, and data‑driven decision‑making; track timelines, actions, and results.
  • Process optimization: analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, redesign processes, and implement sustainable improvements.

Our client, a global manufacturer, is seeking a dedicated Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their dynamic team.The CI Project Lead / Engineer is the primary driver of operational excellence, responsible for reducing waste, improving flow, strengthening standard work, and building long‑term CI capability across the organization

Job Title: Continuous Improvement Engineer

What's the Job?

  • Lean Leadership — Champion Lean culture; coach teams in 5S, standard work, VSM, waste elimination, and structured problem‑solving.
  • Kaizen Facilitation — Plan, lead, and teach Kaizen workshops; guide cross‑functional teams through rapid‑cycle improvement
  • Supporting Kaizen — Provide full support for Kaizen events including: Event preparation (data gathering, current‑state mapping, materials) Facilitation support (guiding breakout groups, capturing ideas, maintaining pace) Process analysis (time studies, waste walks, spaghetti diagrams, bottleneck identification) Lean tool application (5S, root‑cause analysis, PDCA, standard work updates) Documentation (before/after metrics, action items, SOP updates) Sustainment (follow‑ups, audits, verification of results)
  • Project Execution — Lead CI projects using DMAIC, A3, and data‑driven decision‑making; track timelines, actions, and results.
  • Process Optimization — Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, redesign processes, and implement sustainable improvements.
