Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day administration, configuration, and training for continuous improvement software platforms.
• Partner with operations teams to identify opportunities for improvement, analyze data, and support process changes to boost safety, quality, efficiency and cost savings.
• Apply foundational Lean and Six Sigma tools—5S, Root Cause Analysis, Standard Work, Process Mapping and Visual Management—to streamline operations and eliminate production waste.

Gerdau is a major steel manufacturing company, operating in 10 countries, and employing over 30,000 individuals. The North American business divisions (Gerdau Long Steel North America and Gerdau Specialty Steel North America) produce long and special steel products for the agriculture, energy, industrial, automotive, and manufacturing markets.
