Job summary

Jensen Precast seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead process improvements at our Fontana, CA facility. You will develop and implement CI initiatives across operations, engaging with leadership and shop floor teams to drive measurable gains in efficiency and quality.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will scope projects, analyze data, and deliver results while preparing for a future Lancaster transition.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
3–5 years of experience in process improvement, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; multitasking ability.
Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
Experience leading CI events with kaizen tools (value stream maps, fishbone, PDCA, SMED).
Lean Six Sigma certification (or able to obtain green belt within six months).

Responsibilities

Develop and implement continuous improvement activities across operations.
Lead events and collaborate with teams to analyze metrics, budgets, and timelines.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste.
Coordinate and drive action closure from assessments and audits.
Develop KPI tracking at plant level and monitor performance.
Create a continuous improvement suggestion system and ensure actions are implemented.
