Job summary

Unimacts Global is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead data-driven process improvements at the Sloan, NV facility. You will drive Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency across steel fabrication operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving on the shop floor, with responsibility for ROI tracking, KPI reporting, and implementation sustainment. A Green Belt is required and Black Belt is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of continuous improvement or manufacturing engineering experience in steel fabrication or related industries.
• Proven track record leading Lean or Six Sigma projects with quantified results.
• Hands-on problem solver spending most time on the shop floor.
• Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis of plant performance metrics and report daily executive summaries.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and downtime using DMAIC, 5-Why, and fishbone methods.
• Develop systems to digitalize on-ground operations and optimize workflow.
• Track OEE, scrap, cycle time, and ROI; build an improvement pipeline.
• Train supervisors in lean tools and sustain improvements.
