Job summary

Henderson Products, a division of Douglas Dynamics, seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer II to drive efficiency and eliminate waste. You will implement engineered solutions, develop improvement plans, and support data-driven decisions across safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3+ years in manufacturing, strong problem-solving and project management skills, and proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering required.
• 1–3+ years manufacturing experience; welding/assembly a plus.
• Strong problem analysis and decision-making skills.
• Project management skills; capable of leading shop floor changes.
• Proficiency with MS Excel/Word; Autodesk Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement processes.
• Analyze and standardize manufacturing best practices across Henderson Operations.
• Lead cross-functional teams on high impact CI projects.
• Develop and implement standard processes across Henderson Operations.
• Manage multiple medium to high complexity projects to meet scope.
• Apply 8D, Five Why’s, and practical problem-solving to address root causes.
• Identify risks and optimize production/installation value streams.
• Support Kaizen events and other CI initiatives across departments.
