Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer for the CPA division, located at Sumter, SC or El Paso, TX. You will lead CI efforts across front-end engineering processes for ETO products like panelboards and switchboards, coordinating with design, engineering and systems teams to drive SOP updates and training.

The role requires 5+ years of engineering experience with ETO tools, strong BI and office software skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with ETO products and configuration tools or project management.
• No immigration sponsorship; travel 10–15% to other Eaton locations.
• Experience with Bid Manager, MI Manager, Design Automation, DCMS, POM and Pick Work Bench.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to improve Product Line Systems and ETO tools with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Front End Engineering on business process improvements.
• Drive enhancement requests to Bid Manager and Design Automation tools.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure alignment across the division.
• Support front end systems projects and share best practices across teams.
• Manage large projects to milestones with limited supervision.
• Foster a continuous improvement culture and autonomous work.
