Qualifications

• Self-motivated with initiative and the ability to drive tasks forward.
• Strong teamwork in cross-functional groups and effective communication.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to Continuous Improvement & Manufacturing teams.
• Participate in Aptar’s continuous improvement process using structured problem-solving techniques.
• Perform root cause analysis to solve problems in the manufacturing process.
• Lead small projects and improvement activities to enhance processes across the plant.
• Assist in implementing machine and process changes that support continuous improvement.
• Contribute to cross-functional teams focused on cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements.
• Assist with statistical analysis, solution verification, and validation of improvement countermeasures.
• Participate in 5S audits and support ongoing 5S improvements across the plant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Quick learner who can adapt & perform well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Self-motivated & confident, with the ability to take initiative & drive tasks forward.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively both independently & in cross-functional groups.
• Experience with—or willingness to learn—AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Excellent organizational & time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
• Proficiency with computers & Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
• All other duties as assigned.

LOCATION:

The student must be able to commute to our site in Mukwonago, WI.

HOURS:

This is a Monday - Friday schedule, working approximately 40 hours per week.
