Entegris in Chaska, MN is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. This full-time, 6-month assignment supports manufacturing excellence by applying Lean and Six Sigma to safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.

You will work with operations, engineering, quality, and production teams to identify opportunities, eliminate waste, and implement sustainable solutions that drive measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, visual management, standard work, and workplace organization.
• Facilitate Kaizen events focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Conduct Gemba walks to observe processes and engage employees in problem solving.
• Support Total Daily Management (TDM) with metric tracking and visual management boards.
• Lead projects on scrap reduction, variance reduction, and cost savings.
• Apply Six Sigma tools (5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, Process Mapping) and root-cause analysis.
• Assist with Kanban implementation and material flow improvements.
• Analyze operational data and communicate findings to stakeholders.

This assignment is intended to be full time, 6 months in duration.In this role, you will support manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives by applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
