Job summary

Henkel is seeking a results-oriented engineer for its Adhesive Technologies unit in the United States, Bay Point area. You will drive manufacturing processes to deliver safe, high-quality products on time and at competitive costs, while leading continuous improvement projects across cross-functional teams.

You will analyze performance metrics, identify root causes, implement sustainable solutions, and coach employees to raise engagement and ownership in daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective collaborator across cross-functional teams.

What You´ll Do
  • Drive engineering and manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality products are delivered safely, on time, and at a competitive cost.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, developing action plans, and implementing process enhancements.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize operational efficiency, quality, and productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide technical expertise, support, and process improvement recommendations.
  • Use data analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by coaching employees, promoting ownership, and increasing engagement across the production team.

The salary range for this role is $80,000.00 and $90,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
