Hunter Engineering Company in Raymond, MS is seeking a Continuous Improvement Co-Op for Spring 2027. You will join teams to enhance the Kanban System and drive process improvements aimed at more consistent production rates.

This Co-Op runs January through May 2027, offering real-world experience with Kaizen events, 6S, and Value Stream Mapping. Ideal candidates are pursuing Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Mechanical Engineering and have strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• GPA 2.5 or higher (must be on resume).
• Majors: Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with engineering tools preferred.

Responsabilités

As a Continuous Improvement Co-Op, you will work on teams to improve Kanban System to achieve more consistent production rates.

This position is for a Spring 2027 Co-Op, with a start date of January 2027 and an end date of May 2027.

What You’ll Do:

• Work on teams to improve Kanban System to achieve more consistent production rates.
• Participate in multiple Kaizen Events to reduce inefficiencies and improve employee morale.
• Lead 6S organizational events help employees better organize their work areas.
• Participate in Value Stream Mapping Events to identify opportunities to drive future improvements.

What You’ll Bring:

• Minimum 2.5 GPA (must be on resume)
• Major study in:
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Industrial Technology
  • Mechanical Engineering
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Hands-on experience using tools preferred
