Job summary

ASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services company, is seeking a Continuity Manager to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of business continuity and IT disaster recovery capabilities across federal operations.

You will conduct analyses, design and maintain plans, run exercises, and provide audit-ready reporting to leadership, aligning with NIST, ISO standards, and ITIL 4 resilience practices. Strong coordination with IT, security, and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience with continuity or recovery exposure.
• 8+ years in business continuity, disaster recovery, IT operations, or risk management.
• Understanding of BC/DR principles, risk assessments, and ITIL.
• Ability to document and maintain continuity plans and coordinate across teams.
• Strong communication and project management skills; able to present to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise continuity and IT disaster recovery policies and playbooks.
• Perform business impact analyses and risk assessments across services.
• Coordinate creation and review of continuity plans for applications, infrastructure, facilities, and vendors.
• Plan and evaluate tabletop exercises, tests, and remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with IT operations, cybersecurity, and vendors to embed resilience requirements into projects.
• Produce dashboards and reports for leadership and compliance stakeholders.
• Lead investigations and drive corrective actions; provide training and guidance.
