The ideal candidate holds a current nationally recognized Tai Chi certification, can work with individuals and groups, and maintains a professional, positive attitude. Salary is $40.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current nationally recognized Tai Chi Certification.
• One year teaching and/or training experience preferred.
• Ability to work with participants individually and in groups, using various demonstrations methods.
• Knowledgeable about the industry with the skills to network, engage and interact with participants.
• Communicate professionally and maintain a positive attitude.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Instructor provides professional, engaging and effective group classes.
• Provide instruction and coaching to class attendee.
• Coordinates and prepares music and class routine as necessary.
• Exercise safety awareness and practices.
• Follows and enforces department policies, rules and regulations while maintaining a friendly attitude.
• Strong communication skills to deliver course content.
• Ensure that the class attendees are satisfied with the lessons.
• Begin and end class on time.
• Accurately record class participation and collect participants'surveys at the end of each class.

QUALIFICATIONS:
