Essential Duties

• Responsible for Yoga course instruction, including implementing effective learning strategies and environments, delivering instruction of high quality, assessing student learning, and advising students.
• Develop and implement an appropriate and engaging curriculum that considers the unique abilities and interests of each participant.
• Teach using diverse methods and teaching styles to fully engage participants.
• Inspire, motivate, and foster confidence in all students.

Qualifications

• Completed 100 to 200‑hour Yoga Teacher Training.
• Registered Yoga Instructor.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of experience teaching yoga.
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Moderate proficiency with personal computers and applicable software.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment that reflects the Malcolm X College community and embraces our vision and mission.

Salary: $40.00/hour.
