MCC’s Continuing Education Division College for Kids and Teens is seeking enthusiastic and experienced non-credit instructors with teaching experience to lead engaging, skill-based, or enrichment classes for children and teens. This position will have various teaching opportunities throughout the year and will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging, practical course content and activities that enhances students’ personal growth and enriches their lives. Provide children and teens with a unique and enriching educational experience that combines learning and creativity in a vibrant and supportive environment. This position will have random teaching opportunities throughout the year. MCC holds classes at multiple locations throughout the Metro area including Fremont and Blair. Most classes are held days, weeknights and weekends.

Metropolitan Community College was created in 1974 when the Nebraska State Legislature consolidated the original eight technical community college areas into six. That year, the programs, personnel, assets and liabilities of the former Omaha Nebraska Technical Community College Area merged with the Eastern Nebraska Technical Community College Area under a new name: the Metropolitan Technical Community College Area. In 1992, the Legislature voted to change the name to Metropolitan Community College Area.
