Metropolitan Community College is seeking enthusiastic, experienced non-credit instructors to lead hands-on plant-related art classes for Spring 2027 and beyond. Courses may cover watercolor paints from plants, natural dyes, botanical paper making, and sustainability.

Instructors design curriculum, deliver engaging content, supervise participants, and foster a positive learning environment across MCC locations including Fremont.

Topics will include, and are not limited to: watercolors made from plants, natural dyes, paper made with botanical material, and sustainability. Instructors introduce students to art and botanicals in a safe, supportive, and interactive environment. Responsibilities include creating curriculum, leading activities from the curriculum, supervising participants, promoting student engagement, and creating a positive learning experience.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:*** Teaching experience (all ages)* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to deliver engaging and practical course content* Passion for teaching and a commitment to helping others achieve personal growth and enrichment* Knowledge of utilizing plant-based materials in arts, such as in watercolors, as dyes, or in making paper This position will have opportunities for teaching assignments throughout the year. MCC holds classes at multiple locations throughout the Metro area, including Fremont and Blair.
