Job summary

Hawthorne Lane is seeking a Committees and Program Coordinator for a national legal association. You will support committee operations, including appointments, CLE vendor coordination, attendance and certificates, and reporting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience, with strong tech skills and excellent communication. The position is hybrid with two remote days per week and some travel to events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of related work experience.
  • Experience with attorneys or in a professional association is advantageous.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, pivot tables, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with scheduling conferences and meetings and maintain records of committees and speakers.
  • Support committee appointments and assist with reporting, analysis, and surveys.
  • Oversee CLE systems, attendance tracking, certificates and reporting; manage CLE communications and related expenses.
  • Manage CLE operations, including records, accreditation, vendor coordination, and inquiries.
  • Support program coordination, promotion, and content management (web, registration, meeting app).
  • Prepare schedules, speaker materials, and presentation decks (including CLE verification slides).
  • Coordinate logistics with internal teams and committee chairs (A/V and on-site).
  • Produce post-meeting reports and manage speaker recognition and materials.

Job description

Are you looking for an opportunity that blends customer service with committee support? This national legal association is seeking a professional, organized, and service-oriented individual for their Committees and Program Coordinator opening. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting committee operations, including appointment processes, partnering with CLE vendors to manage accreditation to ensure smooth and compliant experience. If you are a team player with previous experience tracking Continued Learning Education (CLE) activities, and excellent tech skills, who is personable, dependable, and always on your A-game,

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with scheduling conferences and committee meetings, maintaining accurate records of all committees and speakers’ information in internal databases.
  • Support committee appointments and assist the Nominating Committee with reporting, analysis, and surveys.
  • Oversee CLE systems, including submission portals, attendance tracking, certificates, and reporting, develop and distribute CLE communications (instructions, links, PINs) and reconcile related expenses.
  • Manage CLE operations, including records, accreditation, vendor coordination, and inquiry response.
  • Support meetings/conferences through program coordination, promotion, and content management (web, registration, meeting app).
  • Prepare schedules, speaker materials, and presentation decks, including CLE verification slides.
  • Coordinate logistics with internal teams and committee chairs, including A/V and on-site execution.
  • Produce post-meeting reports and manage speaker recognition, including materials and gift distribution.
