Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Contract Workforce Coordinator in Plano, TX to oversee and coordinate a growing contingent contractor workforce. You will manage records, training, and scheduling while aligning with Approved Service Providers to ensure staffing needs are met.

The role requires coordinating with multiple internal teams, forecasting future contractor requirements, and maintaining compliance. Proficiency with Excel and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years coordinating or managing contractor/workforces, contingent workers, staffing programs, or outsourced workforce.
• Experience working directly with staffing agencies, ASPs, vendors, or contractor service providers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a large volume of contractor information.
• Experience tracking attendance, training, certifications, schedules, or other workforce data.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities with several internal departments and external partners.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other workforce management or HR systems.
• Ability to analyze workforce data and communicate trends, gaps, and staffing needs.
• Experience in a fast-paced operational environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration and coordination of the contractor workforce.
• Maintain accurate contractor records, including attendance, training, certifications, and assignments.
• Coordinate with ASP/staffing companies regarding contractor needs, availability, schedules, and workforce requirements.
• Communicate forecasted contractor usage and upcoming workforce requirements to ASP partners.
• Coordinate contractor start dates, assignments, schedules, transfers, extensions, and end dates.
• Monitor contractor attendance and address issues with ASP partners and internal teams.
• Track required training and ensure contractors remain current on training and certifications.
• Maintain accurate workforce reports and provide updates on headcount, attendance, training status, and upcoming needs.
• Work with Operations, Project Management, Safety, Training, and other stakeholders to meet contractor requirements.
• Forecast future contractor requirements based on business needs and schedules.
• Coordinate with ASPs to ensure staffing levels meet forecasted demand.
• Identify gaps or compliance issues related to the contractor workforce and resolve them.
• Establish onboarding, tracking, scheduling, and offboarding processes for contractors.
• Serve as the internal resource for contractor workforce administration questions and issues.
• Develop dashboards, spreadsheets, reports, or tools to manage the contractor population.
• Ensure contractor information is maintained accurately per company policies and requirements.
