Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a Contingent Ancillary Services Treatment Advocate in Licking County, OH. The role offers a flexible schedule at up to 19 hours per week with mileage reimbursement and hands-on experience in social services.

Responsibilities include advocating for youth, transporting them to appointments, contributing to treatment plans, and coordinating with families and community partners. Travel daily with non-traditional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma required; associate or bachelor preferred.
• Experience in child welfare preferred.
• Daily travel with flexible schedule incl. after-school hours and weekends.
• Reliable telephone and basic IT skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions with clients while transporting to appointments.
• Participate in development of youth treatment/service plans.
• Interact with youth to build trust and support goal attainment.
• Provide PSR and/or TBS services (training provided).
• Document conversations and outcomes for billing.
• Identify community resources and assist in family reunification and crisis situations.
