Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care is seeking a Contingent Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA-C) to cover peak volumes in an outpatient clinic. This PRN role works independently yet with supervising physicians, handling adult and geriatric care, acute and chronic conditions, and care coordination.

The position requires Ohio RN/APRN licensure or NCCPA/PA licensure, DEA eligibility, BLS, and 1–2 years of outpatient experience. EPIC proficiency and a willingness to work in a dynamic team are essential.

Qualifications

• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain prior to hire.
• Current BLS provider certification.
• 1–2 years outpatient primary care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive history and physical exams for adults/geriatric patients.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases.
• Prescribe medications and manage pharmacologic care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging as needed.
• Collaborate with care teams and coordinate referrals.
• Educate patients on lifestyle, prevention, and disease management.
• Participate in quality assurance and chart reviews.
