Job summary

ServiceMaster of South Shore Inc in Virginia Beach is seeking a Restoration Technician to manage inventory, packing, and cleaning tasks across restoration projects. You will document damaged items, photograph conditions, and use digital inventory software.

Responsibilities include pack-out/in, loading trucks, transporting items, and decontaminating affected materials. A strong customer service mindset and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Restoration experience preferred.
• IICRC certifications are a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management: document damaged items accurately.
• Use digital inventory software.
• Photograph items and assess condition.
• Pack and label boxes securely.
• Pack-out and pack-in: wrap fragile items safely.
• Load and unload moving trucks.
• Transport items to facility and return items after restoration.
• Decontaminate soot, smoke, and mold; deodorize using ozone/hydroxyls.
• Maintain and organize storage warehouse areas.
• Inspect tools and equipment and track cleaning supplies inventory.
