Job summary

Prime Packouts of Salt Lake City LLC is seeking a Packout Technician to responsibly pack, photograph, inventory, and move customer contents damaged by water, fire, or mold. Position emphasizes careful handling, data entry into inventory systems, and on-site packouts with a focus on safety and professionalism.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work politely with customers in their homes or businesses.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration/packout preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor.
• Comfort working in damaged structures and varied conditions.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license if driving duties are assigned.

Responsibilities

• Pack, wrap, and protect contents following company standards.
• Photograph and document each item using digital systems for inventory.
• Load, transport, unload, and position contents in storage vaults or at job sites.
• Assist with cleaning and restoring contents using approved methods.
• Label boxes, bins, and vaults for accurate organization.
• Help lift furniture and heavy items as part of the packout process.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area on-site and in facilities.
• Follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and comply with company policies.
• Provide professional communication and customer service during packouts.
