Job summary

1-800 Packouts NW Philadelphia is hiring a Contents Packout Technician / Driver to help families and businesses recover after fire, water, and storm damage. You’ll pack, inventory, transport, clean, and restore belongings with care and professionalism.

This full-time role requires driving company box trucks, a valid license, a clean driving record, and the ability to meet DOT qualification requirements. Training is provided, with opportunities for certifications and career advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicles operated.
• Clean driving record that meets company requirements.
• Ability to operate box trucks and vans safely.
• Willingness to pass background check and drug test.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Punctuality, reliability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carefully pack, inventory, label, and organize belongings.
• Safely drive company trucks between job sites, cleaning facilities, and storage locations.
• Load, unload, and transport contents safely.
• Assist with cleaning and restoring items affected by damage.
• Maintain accurate documentation of items handled.
• Keep work areas, vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow company safety and vehicle procedures.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with customers.
• Work with teammates and supervisors to complete assignments efficiently.
• Promptly report accidents, citations, license restrictions, or changes affecting driving eligibility.
