Job summary

A1 Restoration of San Diego LLC is seeking a Packout Technician to help pack, photograph, inventory, clean, and move customer contents affected by water, fire, mold, or other damages. The role requires careful handling, data entry into inventory systems, and on-site work in customers' homes and businesses.

Qualifications

• Prior restoration, moving, warehouse, or packout experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Comfort working in damaged structures, tight spaces, and various conditions.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if driving duties assigned).
• Strong organization and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pack, wrap, and protect contents following company standards.
• Photograph and document each item for inventory tracking.
• Load, transport, unload, and position contents in storage vaults or at job sites.
• Assist with cleaning and restoring contents using approved methods.
• Label boxes, bins, and vaults to ensure proper organization.
• Help lift heavy items as part of the packout process.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area on-site and in facilities.
• Provide professional communication and customer service during on-site packouts.
• Collaborate with packout team, drivers, and project managers.
