Job summary

Rainbow Restoration of Chesapeake is seeking a Contents Cleaning & Processing Technician to inventory, clean, and restore customers' belongings after loss events. You will photograph and identify items, wrap and label them for transport, and maintain accurate records in a contents processing facility and on job sites as needed.

You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and use tablets or inventory software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Basic computer/tablet skills.
• Prior cleaning, restoration, or warehouse experience preferred.
• IICRC CPT, FSRT, OCT certifications are a plus.

As you grow in experience, here are some of the things you will do:Photograph, identify, and inventory customer belongings using digital systemsWrap, package, and label items for safe transport and storageClean, deodorize, and restore personal property (furniture, decor, household items, etc.)Repackage, label, and prepare restored items for return to the customerMaintain warehouse organization and accurate recordsAssist with packing/unpacking (pack-outs and pack-backs)Communicate respectfully and professionally with customers and teammatesFollow all safety, cleaning, and documentation protocolsHow to be Successful as a Contents Cleaning and Processing TechnicianAs a Contents Cleaning & Processing Technician, you’ll play a vital role in restoring customers’ belongings after a fire, water, or smoke loss.
