Job description

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Content Writer for our client partner. This is a content editing/auditing role. Our client is looking for a professional writer for content including technical and/or marketing-oriented writing for brands and/or business and ad copywriting.

The team has been tasked with updating and auditing website content. The role involves supporting the product marketing team and working closely with product lines to understand growth targets, providing product-specific content to customers, and owning the content on product detail pages and articles.

This is a remote role with the option to work anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities include:

1. Review over 1,000 website pages for compliance, accuracy, and up-to-date information.
2. Utilize sources like brochures and internal AI tools to audit content for accuracy and compliance, particularly product details and articles.
3. Recommend changes, merge articles, remove outdated content, and collaborate with the team on suggestions.
4. Use project management tools such as Monday.com and Jira.
5. Preferably have an insurance background to ensure compliance with industry regulations; experience in other heavily regulated industries is also considered.
6. At least 2 years of insurance experience is preferred.
7. Familiarity with auditing tools like Zyflow is a plus.
8. Flexible working hours with core hours from 8 am to 5 pm CST for meetings.
