Job summary

Apple TV's Content Strategy & Planning team in Culver City seeks a Lead for Greenlights & Slate Management. You will drive financial and strategic value by owning the greenlight process, reviewing budgets, and collaborating with Creative Development, Production Finance, and Business Affairs.

Reporting to the Head of Content Strategy & Planning, you will analyze deal terms, manage schedules, and innovate processes to support timely decisions across our slate.

Responsibilities

• Greenlights (40%): summarize deal terms, review budgets against comps, and coordinate with show leads for insights.
• Administrative tasks: collating invitee lists, emailing documents, submitting approvals, updating trackers, saving documents for SOX compliance.
• Drive deliverables for greenlight process for original content, working cross-functionally with Creative Development, Production, Business Affairs, and Production Finance.
• Fully own the greenlight process, flag budget issues, and resolve blockers to ensure timely materials for greenlight meetings.
• A successful candidate thrives in organization, project management, and relationship-building.
• For ATV content, partner with leads to shape shows, gaining early insider insight into casting, production locations, renewals, and studio partners.
• Greenlight meetings are biweekly with the Heads of ATV and constitute about 40% of bandwidth.
• Collaborate with CVM Lead to estimate target budgets and ensure CVM is incorporated into every greenlight.
• Innovate and enhance the greenlight process, especially how CVM is incorporated.
• Slate Management (15%): maintain reporting to inform upcoming fiscal year programming budgets.
• Film Ultimates (15%): contribute to ultimate evaluations within the slate framework.
