Job summary

Harlem YMCA is seeking a Content Specialist to select and manage program content and curricula for up to three COMPASS programs. Under the Program Director, you will oversee implementation and provide coaching to staff to ensure high-quality lesson delivery.

You will help maintain accurate documentation, support staff training, and ensure activities align with YMCA standards and OCFS/DOH requirements, contributing to a safe, engaging environment for youth development.

Qualifications

• Experience selecting and managing program content and curricula.
• Ability to oversee lesson plan implementation and coach staff.
• Strong communication and collaboration with program staff.

Responsibilities

• Select and manage content across all required program areas.
• Oversee lesson plan implementation and support staff to ensure effective delivery.
• Coach staff with targeted strategies to enhance lesson facilitation and behavior support.
• Review content to ensure alignment with high-quality YMCA standards.
• Provide professional development for program staff to improve overall program quality.
• Maintain accurate program documentation (sign-in/out forms, reports).
• Ensure activities are safe, engaging, and supportive of youth development.
