Equiliem in New York, NY is seeking a Content Scheduling Coordinator to support global content planning, scheduling, and calendar management for a fast-moving organization. You will identify launch dates, maintain schedules, and communicate changes to stakeholders while coordinating with local and international teams.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage shifting priorities.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in content planning, content curation, program scheduling, content strategy, streaming, or linear television.
  • Experience with content management systems and program scheduling tools; experience scheduling in WON is a plus.
  • Experience with project management tools; proficiency in JIRA is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Airtable, PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Understanding of television and streaming viewing habits and evolving media consumption patterns.
  • Familiarity with scheduling and programming strategies.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and data-management skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with local and global teams.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when required to support global team meetings and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain global content schedules in content management and program scheduling systems.
  • Coordinate with local and global teams to identify launch dates, plan calendars, and communicate scheduling changes to stakeholders.
  • Maintain and distribute internal planning calendars while ensuring content plans and scheduling details remain accurate and current.
  • Manage merchandising and curation requests involving metadata, thematic tagging, and featured platform placements through Airtable forms and ticketing systems.
  • Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, and Curation teams to ensure content launches are appropriately presented and prioritized.
  • Support the Global Programming team with weekly and quarterly business presentations.
  • Liaise with Legal and Rights Management teams to track title rights and restrictions and distribute relevant information to local programming teams.
  • Assist with obtaining creative materials for upcoming content projects.
  • Manage scheduling, ticketing, and data-management activities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Use Excel for data management and basic data manipulation.
  • Support ad hoc projects and requests as business needs change.
  • Support the execution and evolution of editorial strategies in response to audience, cultural, consumer, and business trends.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across local and global teams.
  • Adjust work hours as needed to accommodate meetings and collaboration with teams in other global regions.

Job Summary

The Content Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for supporting global content planning, scheduling, and calendar management for a fast-moving content organization. This detail-oriented role works closely with local and global teams to identify launch dates, maintain accurate content schedules, manage planning calendars, and communicate changes to stakeholders. The position also supports content merchandising and curation requests, rights and restrictions tracking, creative asset coordination, and business presentations.
